Nine holes at McMillen and Foster Park Golf Courses have been opened. The driving ranges are not open at this time due to the fact that the ground is too soft to retrieve the range balls. Shoaff Park Golf Course is expected to open today as well. To check on daily green conditions, call the golf course where you plan to play:

Season tickets go on sale at all of the clubhouses on March 15. Tee times can be reserved on line at www.fortwayneparks.org. You can also arrange for a league or plan a golf outing for your business or organization at one of our City courses

Love  - Trim and Transform   |71.97.140.xxx |2010-03-17 13:55:01 Since there are to be 4 million in cuts for East Allen Schools, I propose that the officials go line by line through the budget, just like they do at the Federal level, and trim around programs here and there. Cutting programs and closing schools completely is not a good solution. We need the schools, programs, and teachers to be present in order to be successful with the students in each area. Suggestions could be re-instating the blackboard and chalk medium instead of using so much paper, go to discount stores for supplies, let students clean up the classrooms instead of making custodians work over, ask how much students will eat before putting it on their tray, one napkin per student, encourage teachers to buy the school lunch, use flourescent lighting wherever possible, encourage teachers to double their efforts so support personnel are encouraged to do likewise...efficiency with educating young people means more Reply 0   0
